Your Journey with Glasgow Gowns

In this section we’ve listed all the questions we’re typically asked throughout a bride’s journey. If there’s something we haven’t answered here, or anything you’d like to discuss further, please reach out - we’re here to help.

What is the cost of your gorgeous wedding dresses? 

Our beautiful made-to-order, and bespoke collections range from £800-£3000. We also offer a selection of ex-sample gowns, all of which are under £800. 

What sizes do you cater for?

Our current samples range from UK10 to UK22, with the ability to make gowns for our brides in sizes UK6 to UK50. Having a wider range of sample sizes is something we’re currently working on with our designers. 

What underwear should I wear to my bridal appointment?

The colour truly doesn’t matter, and as long as you’re comfortable, we’ll encourage you to bin the bra! You’ll always be well covered and securely fitted into our gowns. 

How many guests can I bring to my bridal appointment?

We welcome up to two guests alongside our brides to be.

Do you offer more than wedding dresses?

Yes, we do. From a beautiful collection of veils, accessories, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, through to bridal dressing services, we’ve got you covered. 

What’s the process once I say yes to the dress?

We’ll take your measurements professionally, then place the order with our designer. 50% deposits are required, with the remaining balance due once your gown is ready for collection. Once your gorgeous gown arrives in-store, you’ll be required to collect within 14 days. Lead-times vary on our made-to-order collection, but as a guideline, we’d recommend placing your order at least 6 months ahead of your wedding day.

Where are you based? 

We’re based in the heart of South Lanarkshire, in a town called Hamilton. You can’t miss us, we’re directly across from Hamilton Central Train Station. We’re completely accessible by all methods of transport.
